AQUALINE launched a smart 3,000 sqm warehousing facility in Cherkessk.

 The warehouse is equipped with five-tier pallet racks capable of holding up to 4,200 pallets at a time. The new pallet racking system increased our storage capacity more than fourfold in Cherkessk alone.

 The facility uses a warehouse management system (WMS): every SKU entering the warehouse is scanned and automatically assigned to a slot. The system identifies shipment priorities and chooses pallets to be loaded onto each truck.

Three Toyota high-reach forklift trucks were purchased to service the new warehouse, and warehouse employees did a special training course in Rostov-on-Don.

 “Our goal was to exclude the possibility of human error in warehousing operations and, even when working round the clock, ship our products in full accordance with orders and on time. And we have achieved this goal,” says Liana Khatuova, Head of Logistics at AQUALINE.
